Short film competition

Short films made in film schools from all around the country and intended for kids. Films filmed in Jerusalem or its surroundings, bringing the stories of boys and girls fighting against their families, society, and almost always - against themselves. Every grownup and child in the audience will have the opportunity to vote for the "Audience award" prize. A special jury consisted of local children (whom you will meet during the event) will choose the best films and award them with prizes as well as the festival's statue designed by local artist Michelle Kishka.

High school student's short film competition

Local high school students learning film and communications will show their short films, all shot in Jerusalem and the Jerusalem area, telling the stories, hopes and heart pains of local youngsters. The winning films will be awarded prizes as following: First prize - professional video camera courtesy of on-air equipment and productions, second prize - voucher for the "Third Ear" DVD rental store, third prize - a yearly free pass to the Jerusalem Cinematheque.

After the screening of the selected films a panel will be held with the directors of the films, hosted by director and teacher Ron Ofer.
