Heba is in love with Ahmad, and engaged for about three years. But in the small Nile village where she resides, tradition bears its own power. In this way, she finds herself forced to marry another. From here n, a family tragedy ensues. Filmed in 2013, during the time when the Muslim Brotherhood ruled Egypt, the film presents a heartbreaking gaze on the fate of many women in the Arab world.
