A crazy comedy a la Monty Python about a gang of jewel thieves and a very proper barrister…. In one of the best comedies of the 1980s, the film uses tropes of the crime thriller and romantic comedy and spices them up with physical humor, non-PC, and a combination of naiveté and embarrassment.
