The film touches on Banchiya's struggles in a white, religious society and in a family with many children | Probation Time, Avigail, the director of this film, is dealing with a break-up from her girlfriend and with raising a child that she had with her. Her parents are dealing with her adopted sister’s damaging behavior. This is a depiction of the fragile bonds that make up a family.
