Eilis, an Irish immigrant, lands in 1950s Brooklyn, where she quickly finds a promise for a new life. When she visits her homeland, her sense of belonging envelops her. Now, she will have to choose between these two worlds. Brooklyn takes the immigrant experience and translates it into a terrific and romantic cinematic experience.
