Will a young prince, who may be the Messiah, salvage "Dune" from its great destitute? With an impressive visual design and a series of dramatic scenes – Villeneuve adapts Frank Herbert's masterful novel and creates a mesmerizing experience that is, without a doubt, the cinematic event of the year.

In the second part of the adaptation of Herbert's "Dune," director Denis Villeneuve manages to preserve the achievements of the first part, primarily the transformation of the mythological text into cinematic imagery that conveys the emotions and thoughts of the original text. An unsuccessful Black writer decides to write, under a pseudonym, an "authentic" novel that presents Black life as a life of poverty and crime and becomes a resounding success. American Fiction is a sharp and clever contemporary comedy that also possesses a "genuine heart" (Hollywood Reporter).

When a petty thief is caught and sent to jail on Christmas Eve in New York, the prosecutor takes pity. The two will spend Christmas traveling to his family in Indiana, and fall in love along the way. Barbara Stanwyck and Fred McMurray paint a portrait of a love that never finds its place.
