All Our Fears

Poland 2021 | 90 minutes | Polish | Hebrew subtitles

Daniel is a talented artist living in the countryside with his grandmother. He is kind, considerate, devoted, and part of the community. He is also gay. When a lesbian friend commits suicide because of social pressures, Daniel, seeking to find tolerance and unity, tries to harness the villagers for a Christian art installation in her memory. All Our Fears places the drama in the most intimate places: the tension between sexual identity and religious belief. Questions of tolerance, faith, and the role of art, are translated into a triumphant drama that managed to sweep the audience with a combination of promise and excitement.
